- Specific Power of Attorney - to giving someone to handle a specific transaction for you like selling a home, car or dealing with a specific agency.
- Medical Power of Attorney - to assign the person who can make medical decision on your behalf if you are unable to.
Getting our affairs in order
The earlier the better! It is best to have your POA ready before you need it. This is the way to inform your loved ones of your wishes in case you are unable to communicate on your own. Signing a POA does not take away your rights to handle your affairs it just lets someone step in when you are unable.
