Louisiana has approved online notarizations and it is a very simple and affordable!
Call, email or text me to get started or just ask some questions.
Online notarizatons start at $35 call or email for exact pricing and can take a little as 15 minutes.
Due to the enactment of the Remote Online Notarization Act (R.S. 35:621 et. seq.), Louisiana now allows RON. Louisiana law requires the RON approved Louisiana State commissioned notary to be physically in Louisiana but the signer can be anywhere in the world.
Signers Requirements:
· Valid US Identification (Drivers License or state ID works best)
· Smart Phone or Computer
· Ability to use Zoom and Docusign
Steps:
· Email me your or your clients contact information and digital copy of the documents that need to be signed and notarized.
· We set up a time for our online session.
· The signer receives an email and with instructions on how do the simple ID verification. We use KBA verification through the secure platform.
· At our scheduled time the signer gets a email with a zoom link and we start recording our session.
· Last they receive an email with document (while on the zoom) to digitally sign after they finish signing I notarize it and it is complete. At that point we have an encrypted notarized document.
What cannot be notarized in Louisiana using RON:
